  1. Many people mail me asking about future plans. In an attempt to save 
  2. everyone's time, let me state what I know here.

  4. Audio support will be added ASAP. That and issues related to it are the 
  5. most important item now on my agenda.
  6. Applescript support will dribble in as I feel a need to take a break from 
  7. the complexities of dealing with MPEG.
  8. I would like to start playing with rate-limited MPEG encoding, but that's 
  9. complex stuff to get good results, so I can't suggest when I'll have 
  10. something useful. However I have some ideas for starting right away.
  11. Support for other small issues (for example showing previews when opening 
  12. files) will come in bits and pieces.

  14. These are the large goals. Many small things will be added simply as part 
  15. of the code cleanup. If you need something added that you imagine is 
  16. pretty trivial, mail me. It may be I can add it in a few hours and help 
  17. you, and it may be something I wouldn't otherwise think of.
